Canada needs donor blood. Northern BC has no donor centre
Canadian Blood Services has called for a million new blood donors by 2030. Meanwhile, Canda relies on the United States for nearly 70 percent of its medications that come from blood plasma. Northerners want to help, but we have had no blood donor centre in our region since 2015.
Please sign our petition to bring blood donation back
We’re asking Canadian Blood Services to bring donation opportunities back — by establishing a plasma donor centre in Prince George like the one in Thunder Bay Ontario.
Together, we can help strengthen Canada’s blood system, reduce dependence on plasma imports from the U.S., and prove that rural communities can and will make a difference in saving lives across Canada.
